Books I Look Forward to Reading in 2018

Being the bookworm that I am I thought I would share with you all the top ten books that I am looking forward to reading this year. Plus a couple I’ve already gotten too.

King’s Folly by Jill Williamson

Admittingly I misplaced this one for about a year. It had started to reappear in my thoughts and then not long later I discovered it. I’m glad I did. I look forward to continuing to read it. (Finishes the book the day before this post is published)

A Time to Speak and A Time to Rise by Nadine Brandes.

Perhaps a bit odd of me is that I bought A Time to Rise before A Time to Speak and then I had to wait for the A Time to Speak to become available again. So it arrived in January and I look forward to finishing this series. I remember loving A Time to Die.

Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis

I’ve mostly read this series by listening to the radio drama version which I adore, but this year I want to read through the series again and really delve into what can be learnt from this series. I’ve already begun The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. I decided to go in Publication order too instead of Chronological.

A Thousand Perfect Notes by C. G. Drews

I’ve preordered this book (I actually rarely preorder books) because I’m really excited to read it as it is written by Cait @ paperfury whom I have followed for quite some time. Of course I still have to wait a little while for it to come out. But still very excited. Also I love the cover.

Fawkes by Nadine Brandes

Fawkes doesn’t come out till later this year, but I am already really excited to read it. And I really love the cover.

A List of Cages By Robin Roe

I think I was first introduced to this book by Cait @ through one of her blog posts. I’ve wanted to read it ever since, but haven’t had a chance to yet. I hope to get to it this year, however my local library doesn’t yet have it. I should probably request it though. Also fun fact for a moment I couldn’t remember what it was called and was referring to it as the yellow book. Then I remembered the author and the title came to me. A weird moment of Jumbled Thoughts.

Update on Goodreads Reading Goal

I’ve read 9 books this years so far and according to goodreads I’m on track for my 90 books this year.

What about you? What are some books you’ve been looking for or just been meaning to read? Have you read any of the one’s on today’s list? What did you think of them? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below.
